Funeral services for Sharon Rose Lingerfelt, 54, of 1232 S. 14th St., Niles, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Church of Christ Christian, with the Rev. Lowell Black and Bob Young officiating.
Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Lingerfelt died at 1;43 a.m. Tuesday at St.Joseph Medical Center in South Bend following a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 13, 1938, in Niles she was a lifetime area resident.
On Jan. 5, 1969, in Chicago, she married William R. Lingerfelt, who survives.
She was a systems analyst for Tyler Refrigeration Co. in Niles.
Survivors include four sons, Arthur "Skip" Callahan of Rochester, Ind., Douglas Callahan of Alto, Mich., Gregory Bierwagen of Niles and Adam Lingerfelt at home, a daughter, Sherry Lingerfelt, at home; five grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Young Rodebush of Niles, Olive Line of South Bend and Yvonne Brady of Niles and four brothers, Robert L. Adams of South Bend, Delbert Adams of Niles, Kermit Adams of Niles and Damon Adams of Niles. A brother, Donald Adams, preceded her in death in 1982.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Pifer-Smith Funeral Home.
