Mrs. Edith Winquist, 66, 120 South Fifth street, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday in Pawating hospital. She had been ill for a year.
Mrs. Winquist was born in Logansport, Ind., March 26, 1884, and moved to Niles in 1923. Her husband, Paul, died about a year ago. She was a member of the First Methodist chirch[sic] of Niles, the GAR, and Best Friends club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Claude Huff and Mrs. Carlton Geary, both of Niles; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Marie Patten, of Niles.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. L. George Beacock will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

CIRCLE SERVICE SET
Theodore Metzger circle 49, GAR, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pifer funeral home to hold memorial services for Mrs. Edith Winquist. Also all members of the circle are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m Monday to attend the funeral service.
