NILES--Lucille W. McCoy, 71, of 1334 Cedar Ct., died suddenly at 3 a.m. today at her home.
Mrs. McCoy was born Feb. 29, 1904, in Berrien County, a descendent of pioneers who settled the County, and lived her entire life in this area. On Dec. 28, 1926, she married Clayton U. McCoy, who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Austin (Marilyn) Godsey of Edwardsburg and two grandchildren.
Mrs. McCoy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Niles Reading Club, the Niles Garden Club and the Niles Musical Club.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John R. Wyngarden officiating. Burial will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Halbritter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Heart Assn. or the First Presbyterian Church memorial fund.
