Erwyn B. Kehrer, 86, 3405 N. Fifth St., Niles, died 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, in Pawating Hospital, after a brief illness.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, of the Railroad Clerk's Union, and of the American Association of Retired Persons.

Kehrer was retired from the New York Central Railroad.

Born April 14, 1894, in Sister Lakes, he lived his entire life in the area.

June 23, 1927, in Berrien Springs, Kehrer was married to Nola A. Morris, who survives him.

Also surviving are a son, James M., Niles, and a daughter, Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Carter, Madison, Alabama.

Kehrer had two grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 30, at Halbritter Funeral Home. The Rev. William J. Fuerstenau, of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4  and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
