Ralph B. Weaver, 75, of 207 Bertrand road, died Thursday at 8:50 p.m., in Pawating Hospital after he had been ill for several months.
Mr. Weaver, a retired poultry farmer, was born Feb. 16, 1891, in Stuttgart, Ark., and came to Niles from South Bend in 1927.
He married Carrie Hawkins June 18, 1927, in South Bend and was a member of the Bertrand Bible church.
He is survived by: his wife, Carrie; a son, Ted of Niles; a brother, Carl F. Weaver, Tucson, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home Saturday at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Harold E. Asire officiating.
Burial will be at the Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m., today.
