Robert M. Boone

Robert M. Boone, 72, of 1115 Sycamore St., died at 11:50 a.m. Friday in Pawating Hospital after and illness of three months. He had been hospitalized since last Dec. 2.
Mrs. Boone was born on March 4, 1887, in Niles Township. A retired machinist, he lived here 35 years after moving from Buchanan. His wife, Cecilie, died on May 31, 1959.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Hector C. Brown of Niles and Robert L. Boone of Buchanan; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Hedron of Denver, Colo, and a brother, Dr. George D. Boose of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Kiger and Halbritter Funeral Home, with the Rev. John P. McLauchlan officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
