Lydia C. Ramsay, 67, Niles, died at 12:05 pm. Friday at Pawating Hospital after a brief illness.
Born April 22, 1917 in Pittsfield, Pa., she was a lifetime area resident. On June 22, 1938, in South Bend, she married Alpheus Ramsay, who died Oct. 10, 1976.
Surviving are a son, Terry L. Ramsay of Niles; a stepson, Robert H. Ramsay, also of Niles; two brothers, Clarence McIntyre of Niles and Reginald McIntyre of Dowagiac; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Kennedy and Mrs. Frances Crull, both of Niles, and Mrs. Charlotte Holcomb of Deland, Fla.; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Services will be Monday morning at Halbritter Funeral Home with Rev. David N. Henderson of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
