BUCHANAN Lyle H. Bowerman, 50, of Rural Route Two (Madron Lake road), Buchanan, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan Community Hospital.
Mrs. Bowerman was born Nov. 6, 1899, in Eau Claire the son of Mrs. And Mrs. Henry Bowerman and was married on July 25, 1918, to Irma Farrer. He had been employed at the Garden City Fan Co., Niles, for 40 years.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Elwood Bowerman of Buchanan; a daughter, Mrs. Berneta McIlroy of Buchanan; a brother, Ray Bowerman of Niles; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Longnecker of Kalamazoo and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m, Friday in the Swem Funeral Home here with the Rev. W. D. Ruff, pastor of Bethel Temple of the Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
