INFANT CHILD DIES OF CHOLERA INFANTUM

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sherbino Had Been Ill Only a Few Hours

Eugene William, the eight-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sherbino, died this morning.

The child died with cholera infantum and had been ill but a few hours.

Funeral will take place from the home in River street tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Rev. R.A. Wright of the Methodist church will officiate and burial will take place in Silver Brook cemetery.

CHILD DEAD FROM INJURY

Edna Buck, Aged Five Years, Passed Away at Home of Uncle, R.G. Mell—House is Under Quarantine.

Edna Buck, the five-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Buck, died last evening about 9 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mell on Silver Brook avenue, as the result of internal injuries sustained by a fall from a shed while at play last Monday afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding the death are peculiarly sad.

The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mell has been ill for a few days, and yesterday her illness was diagnosed as scarlet fever, and the home was placed under quarantine. Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Mell are unable to attend them during the hour of sorrow and anxiety which has come upon them.

Mr. Buck brought his family to Niles about two weeks ago from Akron, Ohio and they are temporarily stopping at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mell. Mrs. Buck is employed at the Kawneer.

The little girl was born in Edwardsville, Ill., in May, 1912, at the home of Mrs. Buck's mother. Besides the parents a brother survives her.

The funeral services will be private and will probably be held on Monday, the arrangements not having been completed pending the arrival of relatives from Edwardsville.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR EDNA BUCK HELD TODAY

On Account of Quarantine the Services Were Heud[sic] Outdoors

The funeral services for Edna Buck, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Buck, were conducted this afternoon by Rev. Camfield of the Evangelical church. On account of the quarantine for scarlet fever at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Mell, where the child's death occurred, the funeral services were held in the yard, in order that the relatives who had come from a distance might attend. Interment occurred at Silver Brook cemetery.

Mrs. Samuel Woods, mother of Mrs. Buck, and the latter's sister, Mrs. Charles Kline, both of Edwardsville, Ill., and Bert Buck, a brother of Mr. Buck and Mrs. Mell, of Akron, Ohio, were among the relatives from out of the city who attended the funeral services. The are stopping at the home of friends in the city.

William K. McKinney, 73, of 2331 East Main Street, died at 7:15 a.m. Today enroute to Pawating Hospital in an ambulance.

McKinney was born May 1, 1882, in Newtonarrda, Ireland, and came to Niles about 37 years ago from Chicago. He was manager of the Beebe Farms, and a member of the St. Joseph Valley Lodge No. 4 F. and A.M.

Surviving are a son, Earl Worrell, of Niles; three daughters, Mrs. C.C. Ridinger, of Brownsville, Ore., Mrs. . . .[illegible] grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. D.R. Baird, of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Amelia Hanna, of London, England, and a brother, Walter McKinney, of Belfast, Ireland.

The body is at the Kiger Funeral Home where arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Kiger Funeral Home here for William K. McKinney, 73, of 2331 East Main Street, who died Friday. The Rev. L. Walter S. McKinney, 68, of 316 W. Main St., died Thursday at 5:04 p.m. in Pawating Hospital. He had been ill seven years.

Mr. McKinney, a retired employe of the Kawneer Co., shipping department, was born July 3, 1894, in Dearfield. He lived most of his life in this area.

Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth; a son, Ivan, South Haven; a daughter, Mrs. Dale Mangold, this city; and 11 grandchildren.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pifer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Albert Marialke, pastor of the Assmebly[sic] of God Church, officiating. Veterans will be in charge of committal rites at Silverbrook Cemetery.

Friends are being received at the funeral home.

DEATH TAKES ISAAC M'KINNEY

Isaac McKinney, a civil war veteran, died this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his home, 120 Marmont street, of old age. Deceased was born at Wolf Lake, Noble county, Ind., August 18, 1831.

Besides the widow he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Meach of this city, Nettie Dayhuff of Chicago; one son, Walter McKinney, of Niles; one sister, Mrs. Alfretta Sprague, of Ligonier, Ind., and one grand-daughter.

Funeral services will probably be held Friday from the home. Burial will take place in Silver Brook cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Isaac McKinney will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon at the home of his son, Walter McKinney, 310 Desaix street. Rev. Warmington, of the Northwestern Theological college, who is conducting services at the Methodist church during the absence of Rev. E.G. Lewis will officiate. VICTIM OF CANCER

Mrs. William Kenny[sic], residing at the corner of Regent and Tenth streets, died Saturday afternoon after a long illness from cancer. The deceased is survived by her husband and two brothers. The funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. R. A. Wright. Interment occurred at Silver Brook cemetery.

The funeral of Catherine Cowell McKenney[sic], 62 years old, who died late Saturday night, at her home, 998 Regent street, was held yesterday afternoon Rev. Wright conducted the ceremony and burial was in Silver Brook cemetery. Mrs. McKenney leaves a husband.
