Mary K. Morris (Whittig), 100, formerly of Berrien Springs, died at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 8, 1970, in the Quick Convalescent Home, Niles.
Born Jan. 5, 1870, in Elkhart, Mrs. Morris had lived in this area all her life. On March 5, 1893, in Niles, she married Clifford Morris, who died in 1953.
Survivors include a son, Lyle of Berrien Springs, a daughter, Mrs. Erwyn Kehrer of Niles; a foster daughter, Mrs. Ruth Cleary of Detroit; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Halbritter Funeral Home, with the Rev. John R. Wyngarden of the first Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
