Funeral services for Pauline “Polly” Marcella Sell, 84, of 301 Pete Ellis, Bloomington, Ind., are Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Halbritter Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard L. Rice of Niles.
Burial will follow in Silverbrook Abbey at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
Sell died Thursday at 9:40 p.m. At Bloomington Convalescent Center., Bloomington, Ind., following a brief illness.
She was born June 7, 1914, in Huntington, Ind., and came to Niles from Huntington in 1941. Sell moved to Bloomington in 1983.
On June 29, 1934 in Huntington, she married Ernest Edward Sell, who preceded her in Death on April 24, 1972.
Sell was a member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington. She had been a waitress at Franky's Restaurant and Thomas' Drive-in, both in Niles.
Survivors include a son, Frederick Lee Sell of San Antonio, Texas, a daughter, Janne Lynne Butcher of Bloomington; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carol Ann Butcher-Jenks, who died on Jan. 4, 1999; three brothers, Donald Heiney, Emmett Heiney and Wesley Heiney Wilson; and two sisters, Opan Shroyer and Mary Tumbleson.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at Halbritter Funeral Home.
