Mrs. Mary Roebeck, 91, 1421 Clarendon St., died at 3:15 a.m. today in the Berrien County Hospital. She had been ill for the past three years.
Mrs. Roebeck had lived in this area all her life. She was born in Three Oaks on Feb. 3, 1870. She had been a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ (Evangelical and Reformed). Her husband Anson, preceded her in death in 1933.
Surviving are: her children: Mrs. Herman Bath and Irvin Roebeck, both of Niles, and Mrs. Elma Riegle of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert Kupperness of Elkhart and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Geideman of Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Richard Fraser officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Pifer Funeral Home.
