MRS. JOHANNA BOHT, 89, DIES IN FIFTH ST. HOME
Resident of Niles for 60 years Passes Away After a Short Illness
Mrs. Johanna Boht, 86, widow of Fred Boht, and a resident of Niles for about 60 years, died about midnight in her home, 1218 North Fifth street. While Mrs. Boht had been in ill health she had been confined to her bed but a few days before her death. Had she lived until next Feb. 29,[sic] she would have celebrated her 90th birthday anniversary.
Mrs. Boht was born in Friendendorf, Germany, on Feb. 9, 1841. She grew to young womanhood there and was married there to Mr. Boht. They came to America when she was a young woman and had always since resided in Niles. OF the two children born to Mr. and Mrs. Boht, one survives, Ernest J. Boht, of Niles. Besides her son, she is survived by four grandchildren and Mrs. Adam Asmus of Niles is an only niece of the deceased. Mr. Boht died four years ago. He was for many years an employe of the city of Niles in the street department.
The body is the Troost and Augustine funeral rooms and friends may call there to view it. While the funeral plans are not completed, the services will be held in the undertaking rooms and probably on Sunday. Mrs. Boht was one of the oldest members of St. John Evangelical church and was also a member of the Ladies' Aid society. The latter society will attend the funeral services in a body by request of the president.

Niles News in Brief: FUNERAL MRS. JOHANNA BOHT
Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Boht will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Troost and Augustine chapel. The Rev. G.W. Webbink, pastor of St. John's Evangelical church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silver Brook cemetery. Mrs. Boht died Thursday night at the age of 89 years.
