Rev. Peter Findley Dies at Wabash, Ind.
Rev. Peter Findley, a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. William Finley, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the hospital in Wabash, Ind., where he was operated for appendicitis on Saturday, July 20, having become ill the day before. Mrs. Findley, who was visiting in Niles at the time, was summoned home on account of his condition which was alarming from the time he was stricken. Rev. Findley is well-known to Niles. He was here on July 4, apparently in excellent health, and was to have been a speaker at the emancipation day program here today. He was pastor of the A.M.E. Church at Wabash.
The body will be brought to Niles over the Big Four tomorrow, arriving here at 1:15 o'clock and will be taken to the home of William Finley, 999 Lake street. The funeral arrangements will be completed after Mrs. Findley arrives with the body.
Rev. Findley is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Mabel Finley, and by four children, three girls and one boy.

The funeral services for Rev. Peter Findley will be held from the A.M.E. Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Allen and Rev. Saunders will officiate. The remains may be viewed at the home of Wm. Finley, 999 Lake street until 1 o'clock Friday afternoon or at the church at 2 o'clock. Burial will take place at Silver Brook cemetery.
