Mrs. Hofmeister Dies At Age of 92
At the age of 92 years, the life of Mrs. Caroline Hofmeister, 902 Regent street, was brought to a close this morning at 3 o'clock, when she passed peacefully away after suffering for more than two weeks with the complication of diseases attendant upon advanced years. Mrs. Hofmeister was born in Germany, May 10, 1832. When she was 34 years of age she came to America, and a few years later was married to Mr. Hofmeister who died in Niles just six months after the family moved here from Cincinnati, Ohio, 15 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Hofmeister came to Niles with their son, Christian, then an employe of the National Printing and Engraving company. He died here 12 years ago.
Mrs. Hofmeister is survived by three grandchildren, Christian, Jr., Chilton and Mrs. Helen Young, all of Cincinnati. Christian, Jr., has been in Niles for more than a week, and his sister, Mrs. Young, is expected here this evening.
The funeral services will be held at the Troost and Augustine undertaking chapel on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will take place in Silver Brook cemetery where the husband and son of the deceased are buried.

FUNERAL SERVICES
Rev. John Schurman officiated at the funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Hofmeister at the Troost and Augustine chapel this afternoon. Burial took place in Silver Brook cemetery.
