HEART ATTACK FATAL TO MRS. D. HANCHEET

Berrien Springs Woman Found Dead in Home Today

Mrs. Della Hancheet[sic], mother of Mrs. Zenetta Hunter, Niles, was found dead at 9 o'clock this morning in her home on South Cass street, Berrien Springs.

Mrs. Hancheet had lived alone since the death of her husband, Fred B. Hancheet, April 14, 1936. Neighbors, who had been accustomed to seeing her abut the house, became alarmed over her absence and investigated.

J.D. Caldwell entered the house and found Mrs. Hancheet's body lying face downward on the floor of the living room. Dr. E.A. Miller and Coroner Louis J. Kerilkowske were immediately summoned.

Dr. Miller pronounced a heart attack as the cause of death, and set the as late Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday Mrs. Hancheet had greeted her neighbors and appeared to be in the best of health.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Hunter, who is employed in the offices of Dr. Fred N. Bonine for a number of years, Mrs. Hancheet leaves two sons, Fred, Detroit, and Merrick, Holland.

The body was taken to the Clark funeral home, Berrien Springs. Arrangements for the funeral are incomplete.
