Ernest Peace Jr., 71, of Niles, MI passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
He was born on November 30, 1947 in Panama City, FL to the late Ernestine and Lorenzer Owens Sr. On June 5, 2005, Ernest married Tommie Prichett in Niles, MI.
Survivors include his wife, Tommie; son, Ernest Peace III of Edwardsburg, MI; daughter, Mary Pahram of Chicago, IL; stepdaughters, Tammy (Larry) Robinson, Tyrus Prichett, Tracy Whitfield all of Niles, MI; brothers, Lorenzer (Gwen) Owens Jr. of Panama City, FL, Jesse (Wanda) Owens of Wewahitchka, FL; Michael (Phyllis) Owens of Detroit, MI; sisters, Geraldine (Robert) Owens-Harris of Panama City, FL, Lorraine Caldwell of Chesterfield, IN, Freddie Mae Williams of West Palm Beach, FL; six grandchildren, special granddaughter, Larunda Applewhite; and god-family of god-son, KevinHatcher Sr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernestine and Lorenzer; daughter, Dorothy Peace; brothers, Willie Owens, David Owens, Leon Owens, Richard Owens; and sister, Sheila Fisher.
Graveside service for Ernest will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com.
