With her family surrounding her, Darlene Myers, 73, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at her home.
She was born to the late Leroy and Marjorie (Everman) Hydorn in Niles, on May 20, 1946. Darlene’s life was revolved around her family. She found happiness in being surrounded by them and could often be found in the kitchen baking for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Myers, and her sister, Judy Wall. Darlene is survived by her children, Mickey Hydorn, of Niles, David (Teresa) Mills, of Niles, Tina Mills, of South Bend, and Timothy Mills, of Niles.
Darlene will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren, her 10 great-grandchildren and her two sisters Diane Backus and Mary (Lynn) Ostrander, both of Niles and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services to honor Darlene will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, with a time of visitation one hour prior at Brown Funeral Home.
