Mrs. Compoe, 62, Dies at Home; Was Ill Briefly
Mrs. Matilda Compoe, 62, rural route three, Niles, died in her home at 4 a.m. today after a brief illness.
Born at Pinconning, Mich., Feb. 7, 1883, she is survived by her husband, Frank, to whom she was married in 1898. The couple came to Niles three years ago from Pelleston, Mich.
Funeral Monday
Other survivors include two sons, Clarence, of Pelleston, and Lawrence, serving in the army in the Pacific; three brothers, Charles, Levi and George Tatro and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
