Mary Jo Rinker, 50, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Saturday evening, Aug. 11, 2018, in her residence with her husband at her bedside.
She was born June 28, 1968, in Niles, the only daughter and youngest of three children of Joseph Wiemer and Joy Ann Paugh. She married Scott Norman Rinker July 4, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.
Mary will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Scott Rinker Sr., of Cassopolis; one son, Scott (Torie Conner) Rinker Jr., of Cassopolis; two grandchildren, Skylar Conner, Tyler Rinker; two brothers, Joe (Bambi) Paugh, of Benton Harbor, Dwayne (Liz) Elrod, of Flagstaff, Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will observe a private remembrance. Mrs. Rinker’s remains will be laid to rest near her parents in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, Michigan.
