Mildred L. “Mickey” Muntz, 93, of Niles, Michigan died on July 27, 2016 at Lakeland Healthcare Hospital in Niles. She was born July 21, 1923 in Erin, Tennessee to Charlie Andrew and Nettie May (Beechem) Ladd.
Mickey was a member of the Fraternal Order Eagles 2094 where she was a former past president, trustee and was part of their bowling league.
On June 7, 1971 in Niles, Mickey married Clayton A. “Dude” Muntz, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 11, 1995.
Surviving family includes two brothers, Charles Ladd, Jr. of Ashton City, Tennessee and Harold Ladd of Cumberland City, Tennessee; step-son, Clayton Muntz, Jr.; step-grandson, Brent Muntz; step-great-grandson Blake Muntz and companion Mervin Morris.
Mickey was preceded in death by husband, sisters, Mary Shields and Ruby Parrot and brothers, Thomas, Luther and Edward Ladd.
The funeral service for Mildred L. “Mickey” Muntz will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. Interment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
