Mrs. Lagoni Death Victim This Morning
Mrs. Anna Lagoni, who had lived in Niles for the last 47 years, and for many years conducted the Art and Gift Shop, died at 11:50 o'clock this morning at her home, 424 South St. Joseph avenue. Mrs. Lagoni was 62 years old.
Her death terminated a long period of ill health. She had been confined to her home since last October but her condition became serious about a week ago.
Mrs. Lagoni was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, July 27, 1873. She was the widow of Otto Lagoni, who died 22 years ago. She leaves two sons, Ditlef, 1403 Hickory street, alder man of the Third ward, and John, 424 South St. Joseph avenue, supervisor from the Fourth ward.
Mrs. Lagoni was a member of Trinity Episcopal church. Her funeral services will be at the Price and Kiger funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. Harry L. Nicholson officiating.
