Wolf, Former Resident, Dead
A former resident of Niles, Clyde Wolf, 67, of 115 West Washington street, South Bend, died in St. Joseph hospital Saturday night following a three week illness of pneumonia.
Born in Union City, Ind., Dec. 8, 1877, he came to Niles in 1925 and for 10 years was owner of the Grill restaurant. In 1936 he moved to South Bend and has resided there since.
He is survived by his widow Naida; a daughter, Mrs. Jerome Deppert, of South Bend; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Hill, of Vincennes, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 at the Orvis Funeral home, South Bend, by the Rev. Sell, Methodist pastor, and burial will be in Niles Silverbrook cemetery.
