ISAAC WELLS DIES OF HEART ATTACK

Widely Known Niles Farmer Expires While Driving on M-60 Highway

Stricken with a heart attack while driving west of Niles this morning, Isaac Wells, 66, died suddenly about 10 o'clock.

Mr. Wells, who had lived on a farm west of Niles on M-60 for the last 15 years, was widely known in and near Niles.  He was the father of Mrs. Clarence Gillette, Chicago road, who survives him.

Mr. Wells had started toward Niles with a truck load of apples. Apparently conscious of his condition, he had pulled to he side of the road. A passing motorist noted his condition and summoned Rutherford's ambulance.

Beside his daughter, Mrs. Wells leaves his wife, Mrs. Nellie Wells, and a sister, Mrs. Glen Meade, of Dowagiac.

Arrangements for the funeral services have not been made.
