MRS. GEORGE WORM DIES AT AGE OF 30
Niles Woman Succumbs After Four Day Illness; Rites Wednesday Afternoon
Mrs. Pearl Lillian Worm, wife of George Worm, 1350 Broadway, died Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Pawating hospital following a four day's illness. Peritonitis caused from a gall bladder infection was the cause of her death.
Mr. Worm was 30 years old. She came to Niles from Chesterton, Ind., in September, 1917, and had lived here since that time. She was a member of the Methodist church, of the Couples club, and of the Junior Ladies Aid society of the Methodist church.
She was born in Chesterton, Ind., May 4, 1905, and was married, Aug. 30, 1924, to George Worm in Edwardsburg.
Beside her husband, she leaves a daughter, Betty Lou, seven years old, her father, James L. Richardson, ; two brothers, Charles Richardson, Niles and Arden Richardson, Buchanan; three sisters, Mrs. A.N. Cochrane and Mrs. John Nevill, Niles; Mrs. Frank Reading, Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Audus Durflinger, Watervliet, Mich.
Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. T.O. Lee officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the family home until the hour of the funeral.
