There will be no services or visitation for Ruth Irene Chrystler, 84, of 1900 Jeanwood drive, Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart, Ind., formerly of 2601 Oakland Ave., Elkhart.
She died Tuesday at 12:45 a.m. at Eastlake Nursing and Rehab Center.
Chrystler was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Elkhart, Ind. She was married to Clenn[sic] L. Chrystler, who preceded her in death in 1972 in Niles.
Chrystler was a former bookkeeper for her husband's business, Chris Auto-Boat Trim in Niles. She also owned and operated My Home Yarn Shop inNiles. Later, afgter moving to Elkhart, sh was employed at Ziesles and G.L. Perry Variety Store.
She was a 1936 graduate of Elkhart High School.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn Chrystler of Albuquerque, N.M., Robert Chrystler of Conover, Wis., and Jeffrey Chrystler of South Bend, Ind.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Myrtle Dillon of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Harry, Milo, Erwin, Oscar and William Dillon.
Elkhart Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.
