Mrs. Carrie Olive Bruner , 61, of rural route four, died yesterday at Pawating hospital. She had been ill since Friday.
Mrs. Bruner was born Nov. 27, 1889 in Evansville, Ill. She married Charles Bruner in Elberfeld, Ind., on April 12, 1908. They moved to Niles from South Bend seven years ago.
She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Hubert Horner, of South Bend; and Vera Bruner, at home; two sons, Gordon and Norman, both at home; a granddaughter Mrs. George L. Jerdon; a grandson, and a brother, Samuel Blaney, of Manville, Wyo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pifer funeral home with the Rev. George Dick, pastor of the First Baptist church in South Bend, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
