Frank Gillette Dies in Lawton, Service in Niles
Frank Gillette, 70, former resident of Niles, died Sunday in his home in Lawton, according to word sent here this morning. The body will be brought to the Price and Kiger Funeral home late Tuesday morning where rites will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Gillette, who lived in Niles many years, was born in Vinton, Iowa April 2, 1873. Surviving are his widow, the former Carrie Reum of Niles and two brothers, Grant and Oscar Gillette, both of Lawton. The Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster, pastor of the Methodist Church will officiate at the rites Tuesday. Pallbearers will include W.C. Rice, Charles Kitterer, George Panghon, John Francis, Alan Johnson and Laverne Guyott.
