NILES YOUTH KILLED BY LIGHTNING BOLT

Leonard Green Struck Wile Fishing at Mottville; Drought is Ended.

Leonard George Green, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Green, 417 North Fourteenth street, was instantly killed about 10 o'clock this morning at Mottville, Mich., when he was struck by a bolt of lightning.

The youth was on a fishing trip with Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Kromer, also of Niles, on the St. Joseph

GREEN RITES INCOMPLETE

Funeral services for Leonard George Green, 15, who was accidentally killed abut 10 o'clock this morning when he was struck by a bolt of lightning while fishing in the St. Joseph river near Mottville, Mich., are incomplete.

Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Green, 417 North Fourteenth street, he is survived by two brothers, Harvey Wesley and David, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Elinore Hoskins, Niles, and Theda and Mable Green, at home.

GREEN RITES SATURDAY

Funeral services for Leonard George Green, 15, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Green, 417 North Fourteenth street, who was accidentally killed when struck by a bolt of lightning while fishing on the St. Joseph river near Mottville, Mich., Wednesday morning, will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Rutherford funeral home. Interment will be at Silverbrook cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Green residence until 8 o'clock Saturday morning.

GREEN RITES HELD

Funeral services for Leonard George Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Green, 417 North Fourteenth street, who was accidentally killed Wednesday morning when he wa sstruck by lightnigh while fishing in the St. Joseph river, near Mottville, Mich., were held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the Rutherford funeral home with the Rev. Clement Jordan, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.  Interment was at Silverbrook cemetery.

Robert Kromer, Dale Wise, Junior Ramsby, Bert Davis, Gerald Leet and Charles Adams acted as pallbearers.
