Mrs. Edna E. Reid, 68, of 1525 N. 12th St., died at 7:25 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two months. Mrs. Reid had been in poor health for the past eight months.
She was born Jun. 3, 1900 in South Bend and had lived in this area most of her life.
Mrs. Reid is survived by her husband, Foster L. Reid; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Donaghe, Mrs. Betty Curtis, Mrs. Beverly Johnson, all of Niles; two step-daughters: Mrs. Louise Collins of Muskegon, Mich. And Mrs. Vivian Christenson of Los Angeles, Calif.; two step-sons: Oscar Reid of Shelby, Mich. And Russell Reid of Colo.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Alice Rhinehart of Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday
in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlan E. Schlundt, pastor of the St. John's United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
