Wayne Markley, of Detroit, died this morning in a veterans' hospital at Dearborn, where he had been a patient for a few days. He had been ill for the past year and one half.
His wife, who survives, is the daughter of Robert C. Pierce, 124 North Thirteenth street, and the sister of Mrs. Richard C. Williams, 901 South Fifteenth street, and Charles S. Pierce, of 10 North Sixteenth street.
Funeral services will be held in Detroit, and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery here. The Kiger Funeral Home is making local arrangements.

Funeral services for Wayne Markley, of Detroit, who died Saturday morning in a veterans' hospital in Dearborn, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Kiger Funeral Home here with the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
