Thomas I. Miller, 56, of rural route three, died at 7 p.m. Saturday in Pawating Hospital following an illness of one year.
Miller was born July 18, 1897, in Boston, Ga.; and moved to Niles 10 years ago where he engaged in farming. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Berrien County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are: his wife, Pearl; a daughter, Mrs. Fred E. Young, Niles; four sons, Roy W. of Cassopolis, Thomas A., Henry and Herbert, all of Niles; one grandchild; a brother, Harry A. Miller, who lives in Georgia, and two sisters, Mrs. C.J. Nix, Sylvester, Ga., and Mrs. S.L. Wood, Miami, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Raymond McCoy, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home here.
