Funeral services for Calista Elizabeth Minnear, 85, of 1018 Cedar St., Niles, are scheduled for 2 pm. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Donald G. Lester, of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Minnear died Monday morning at Pinebrook Place Nursing Home in Venice, Fla.
She was born April 22, 1908, in Niles.
On Oct. 21, 1939, in Niles, she married the late Earl F. Minnear, who preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1967.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Niles. She attended Milwaukee State Teacher's College. She was a member of the Niles Music Club and was an accomplished vocalist.
Survivors include a son, William Paul Minnear of Venice; four grandchildren: Jeni Flynn of Niles, Steve Janiszewski of South Bend, Louis Minnear of Venice and Anna Senen of Avon Park, Fla.; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Georgianna Starr of Akron, Ohio, Phena Wienke of Niles. A sister Danna Crawford, preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1951.
Friends may call from 2 pm. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Halbritter Funeral Home.
