Scott J. Shearer, 50, of Niles, died at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Riveridge Manor in Niles following a brief illness.
He was born on May 8, 1962, in Niles to James Eugene Shearer and Shirley
Surviving family includes his mother, Shirley Shearer and his father, James Shearer, both of Niles; a sister, Kim (and Kevin) Shelton; an uncle, Dennis Ingleright, and nephew, James Nichols; and many cousins.
The funeral service for Scott Shearer will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Halbritter
Funeral Home in Niles with the Rev. Randy Pearman of Bethel Baptist Church in Niles officiating. Interment will be at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Scott will be missed by family and all who got to know him.
