NILES--Mrs. Frances Exner, 77, of 1326 Eagle St., died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday at Pawating Hospital after an extended illness.
A member of the St. John's United Church of Christ and the Lady Elks, she was born March 31, 1899 in Holland and had lived her lifetime in the area.
On Oct. 25, 1919 in St. Joseph, she married Henry C. Exner, who died July 28,1964.
Survivors include Mrs. John (Emma Lou) Arciszewski of Niles, a daughter; three sisters, Mrs. Martin Van Slooten of W. Olive, Mich., Mrs. Charles Wright of Ludington, and Mrs. Louis Showers of Coopersville, Mich.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold G. Kaiser of St. John's United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
