Miss Bertha A. Hinderer, 72, of 221 Bond street, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Miller Rest Home at Barron Lake following an illess of two years.
A retired school teacher, Miss Hinderer was born Dec. 25, 1881, in Niles. She retired from teaching profession in 1947 after having held teaching posts at the Hatfield School north of here, and in Chicago for 40 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. George Earl, of Niles. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Kiger Funeral Home here with the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
