Joseph R. Miller, 63, route two, Niles, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in Edwardsburg after suffering a heart attack.
Mr. Miller was born Feb. 3, 1897, in Milton Township, Cass County. His wife, Bertha, preceded him in death five years ago. Surviving are a son, Norman Miller, Niles, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pifer and Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg with the Rev. Herbert Meussling, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ Evangelical and Reformed, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
