BUCHANAN, June 4--[Special]
Mrs. Bessie M. Gimlin, 413 East Front street, died today at 3:40 a.m. in the Niles Pawating hospital where she was taken Tuesday, following an apoplexy stroke. She never regained consciousness.
Services will be held Friday at . . .[illegible] . . .with the Rev. Malcolm D. McNeal, First Presbyterian pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Niles Silverbrook cemetery.
Mrs. Gimlin was born . .[illegible] . . ven, Ind., a daughter of John and Mary McIlvain. The family moved to Buchanan 12 years ago from Oak Park, Ill. She married Albert B. Gimlin, Oct. 12, 1893, in Augusta, Kan.
Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Henrietta, at home; a son, Guy M. Gimlin, Oak Park, Ill.; a grandson, and two great-grandchildren. On other son, Capt. Forrest G. Gimlin, died May 21, 1945 in Manila, P.I.
