Catherine Doersam, 86, died at 4:50 a.m. today in Pawating hospital. Mrs. Doersam, who had been ill four years, resided at 1412 Oak street.
Services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Pifer funeral home with the Rev. Theo Eisen officiating. Interment will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Mrs. Doersman[sic] was born Dec. 10, 1860 in Wellesley, Ontario, Canada. She married William Doersam in Wellesley July 19, 1879.
He died several years ago. Mrs. Doersam was a resident of Niles for 64 years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Hibbard, Niles; and Mrs. Etta MacFayden, Detroit; a grandson and a great-granddaughter; two brothers, George and Fred Mayer, both of St. Johns.
