Funeral services for Margaret R. Horner, 88, of 1010 Almaugus Drive, Niles, will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, by the Rev. Al Bastin.
Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
Horner passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday at Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, following a brief illness.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1912 in Niles, to Herman Schrumpf and Myrtle Bowman. Mrs. Horner was a life-time resident of Niles.
On Feb. 8, 1930, she married John E. Horner in South Bend, Ind., who passed away on March 14, 1965.
Horner is survived by her three daughters, Evelyn Bailey, Dorothy Hinegardner, Betty Kuhn, all of Niles; son, John H. Horner of Niles; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanita Knauf of Niles.
Horner was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
