Miss Mable Hamilton, 75, of 645 S. St. Joseph Ave., died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in her home following eight years of failing health.
Miss Hamilton was born Sept. 20, 1886, in Covington, Ky., and came to Niles in 1910 from South Bend. She is survived by a sister, Miss Helen Hamilton, also 645 S. St. Joseph Ave., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifford L. Killian, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church here, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received this evening at the funeral home.
