BERRIEN SPRINGS, March 31--Edward H. Brohman, 72, of Long Lake community, south of Berrien Springs, died Saturday night in Tampa, Fla. He had been ill about a year with a heart ailment.

Brohman was born May 23, 1879 in Richmond, Ind., and came to Berrien Springs in 1904. His wife [died in 1945].

He is survived by three sons, Paul, of Long Lake community, Lester, of Mt. Tabor, and Leonard, of South Bend; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Tusing, also of South Bend; one brother, Frederick Brohman, of Richmond, Ind., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the McLauchlin funeral home with the Rev. Roger Stressman, pastor of the Arden Evangelical United Brethren church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery in Niles.
