NILES--Mrs. Mildred Kokop, 54, of 2200 N. Fifth St., died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday in Berrien General Hospital, after an illness of about 11 months.

Born Feb. 14, 1916, in Grandville, Mich., Mrs. Rokop had lived here for 50 years, coming from Grandville.  On June 17, 1947, in Niles, she married Ignatius Rokop, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Andrew and Frank Sarratore, both of Niles, Thomas Johnson of Chicago and Dean Johnson of Stevensville; a daughter, Mrs. Carole Ferry of Niles; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Basso of  Niles and Mrs. Charles Bruycker of Oxford, Mich., and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Pifer Funeral Home, with burial in Silverbrook Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
