Covert Rites Set
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kiger and Halbritter Funeral Home here for Mrs. Ruth J. Covert, 67, 1018 Regent St., who was fatally injured in an auto crash Sunday 25 miles northeast of Nashville, Tenn. The Rev. John Paul MacLachlan, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home, beginning Friday.
Mrs. Covert was born Feb. 21, 1894, in Davison and moved here five years ago from that community.
Surviving are: her husband, Winfield, who was seriously injured in the auto crash; a daughter, Mrs. Jere P. Kimball, Niles, and two grandchildren.
