BRING BODY TO NILES
The body of Harley Bates, 63, a former resident of Niles, who died in Springfield, Mo., was brought to Niles last evening by his son, L.J. Bates, of Springfield, and this morning was buried in the family lot in Silver Brook cemetery. The deceased was born on a farm near Sumnerville and had lived in Niles on . . moved to Springfield. While ..Michigan Central Railroad Company. He is survived by two sons, L.J. and R.J. Bates, both of Springfield. Mr. Bates was a brother of the late Mrs. William Brown, mother of Mrs. W.A. Smith, 1916 North Fifth street and of Mrs. Bessie Smith, Oak street.
