Mrs. Emily Kubeck, of 311 North Eighth street, died at 5 a.m. today in Pawating hospital. She had been ill since March.

Surviving are her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Dalenberg and Mrs. Rex Weller, both of Niles; five grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Ellen Berg, of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Walter Jenney, of Warren; Mrs. Frank Payne, of East Jordon; Mrs. Charles Heffron, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Ernest Blohm, of Lansing, and one brother, Carl Olson, of Frederic.

Mrs. Kubeck was born on June 23, 1901, in Dollarville, and came here from [illegible] 23 years ago.  She had been employed at the Powell hotel, and was a member of the Eagle auxiliary, and the Grand Lodge of Lady Switchmen of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.

Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. R.M. Greenhoe, Presbyterian pastor, Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
