Harvey Platt, 56, Ill Three Months, Dies at B. Center
Harvey Platt, 56, a resident of Niles for 27 years, died at 12:15 o'clock this morning in the Berrien County hospital. He had been in ill health for three months, and had been in the hospital for the last six weeks.
Prior to his illness he had been employed as a clerk in the Tuttle grocery store. He had lived at 902 East Main street.
Mr. Platt was never married. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Charles Tuttle, Niles, and Mrs. O.N. Hayden, Modesto, Calif., also a brother, Harry E. Platt, Niles.
The Rev. Guy W. Simon of the First Presbyterian church will conduct funeral services at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Rutherford funeral home. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Platt Services
Funeral services for Harvey Platt, 56, will be at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Rutherford funeral home. The Rev. Guy W. Simon will conduct the service, followed by burial in Silverbrook cemetery. Mr. Platt died Friday morning in Berrien county hospital after a long illness.

Serve as Pallbearers
Richard Sutton, John Forler, William Acker and William Crum served as pallbearers at 3 o'clock this afternoon for the funeral of Harvey Platt, 56. Rites were in the Rutherford funeral home with the Rev. Guy W. Simon officiating. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery.
