Frank W. Barron

Frank W. Barron, 87, of 745 Colony, died of natural causes Sept. 23, 1994, in Lee Memorial Hospital, Dowagiac. Mr. Barron retired from National-Standard Co. He was born May 20, 1907, in Hastings, Mich., and moved to Niles in 1916, from Albion, Mich. On June 7, 1930, in Niles, he married Jean S. Scott. She died Jan. 15, 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Georgina Dunham of Niles; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Joseph Valley Masonic Lodge 4, Elks Lodge and Saladin Temple, Grand Rapids.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Halbritter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
