John Francis, 92, of 114 North 10th Street, died Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the home of Mr.and Mrs. Walter J. Miller, 1219 Barron Lake Road, where he had recently made his home.
Francis, a retired meat-cutter, was born Aug. 16, 1864, in Niles and had lived here all his life. He was a charter member of the Modern Woodmen of the World. Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Fred Babcock, of Niles, and niece, Miss Jane Calkins, also Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. John G. Carlton, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home
