Roberta I. Gullett, 79, 845 Carberry Road, Niles, died Saturday at 1:25 at St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind.
She was a member of Washington Temple Church of God in Christ and a homemaker. She was born Jan. 1, 1909, in Batesville, Miss. and moved to Niles from Haiti, Mo. She married George Gullett Dec. 25, 1933. He died Dec. 8, 1960.
Survivors include two daughters, Tiza Taylor or Niles and Georgia Hamilton of Riverdale, Md.; and two brothers, Johnny Irvin of St. Louis, Mo. and Lawrence Irvin of Saginaw; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Niles. Burial will be at Silver Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Washington Temple Church of God in Christ.
Visitation is not being offered. Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan handled arrangements.
